Sales Development Representative (SDR) - EdTech

About the role

VirtuHire is an EdTech company providing an AI enabled solution for the college and university market. This role owns high volume outbound prospecting and booking qualified meetings with senior US higher‑education stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Conduct high‑volume outbound prospecting into the US higher‑education market
• Cold call prospective institutional clients across the United States
• Engage senior decision‑makers including VPs, Directors of Admissions and Directors of Enrolment
• Introduce and communicate the value of an AI enabled EdTech solution
• Qualify opportunities and book qualified meetings for the sales team
• Maintain accurate prospect and activity information in HubSpot

What they're looking for

• Minimum 2-3+ years of SDR, BDR or outbound sales experience
• Proven experience selling or cold calling into the US market
• Strong cold‑calling skills and ability to open conversations with senior decision‑makers
• Experience using HubSpot and familiarity with diallers/CRMs
• Excellent spoken and written English and professional telephone communication
• Self‑motivated, coachable and comfortable working remotely in a target driven environment
