Google Analytics, only if you allow it

We use Google Analytics to see which pages people use and where they get stuck. The first time you visit we ask. If you click Allow analytics, Google Analytics may set cookies (_ga) to count visits. If you click Decline or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set. The Google tag still loads and can send Google basic, cookieless signals (for example that a page was viewed), which Google uses for estimated totals. We never enable advertising features.

Google Analytics never receives your payment details or your email address. When you buy a report we send it the purchase value and which company it was for, so we can see what is useful.

Your choice is saved in your browser (localStorage) for up to 12 months. You can change it any time: Analytics preferences.

Where you came from

Your browser keeps a small record of how you first and most recently arrived here: the referring site, the page you landed on and any utm_ campaign tags. It stays in your browser and is only sent to us if you buy a report, so we know which channels bring paying customers. This is separate from analytics and works whichever choice you make.

Buying company reports

Payments are handled by Paystack (naira) and Stripe (euro). We never see or store your card details. To deliver and restore your reports we keep a purchase record with: your email address, the payment reference, the company and bundle you bought, the amount, the page you bought from, the referrer and campaign record above, your browser’s user agent and device type, and your country as reported by our network provider. If you answer the optional “How did you find RemoteWork?” question after buying, we keep that answer and whether you agreed to a follow-up.

Your browser also remembers your checkout email and access to reports you bought, so you do not have to pay again on this device.

Applying for jobs

Applications happen on the employer’s own site. We never see your CV or application, and the employer’s privacy policy applies there.

Your rights and contact

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, where it applies, the GDPR, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected].
