About the role

HelpSquad is a remote company supporting U S based behavioral health practices. This role owns managing front desk and patient support operations, including administrative tasks, patient coordination, billing, documentation and scheduling as needed.

What you'll do

• Handle front desk duties and patient coordination, including appointment scheduling and follow-ups
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and submit prior authorizations
• Submit and monitor insurance claims, follow up on denied or unpaid claims
• Maintain accurate patient records and support clinical documentation or scribing
• Engage in patient outreach and re-engagement efforts as needed

• Hands-on experience in healthcare, behavioral health, mental health or related medical setting
• Experience with EHR and practice management systems such as SimplePractice, ICANotes, TherapyNotes, Tebra or similar
• Experience using insurance portals and healthcare administrative tools an advantage

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established workflows
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
