Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Sapio Sciences is building a configurable lab informatics platform to support drug discovery and diagnostics. This Senior Financial Analyst role owns FP A activities including forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and SaaS revenue recognition for assigned departments and business units.

What you'll do

• Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes for designated units
• Develop financial models to support revenue, expense, and capacity planning
• Provide financial insights and variance analyses for leadership with actionable commentary
• Track operating KPIs and SaaS metrics with cross-functional teams to improve visibility
• Support revenue recognition under ASC 606 for complex SaaS and life sciences contracts
• Assist with pricing analysis, contract terms review, and pricing governance

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• 4-7 years of progressive FP A, corporate finance, or accounting experience, SaaS industry experience required
• Strong ASC 606 knowledge applied to SaaS/subscription models
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills and experience with financial planning tools
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), procurement, vendor management
• Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
