Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Radar

About the role

Stripe's Radar ML team builds real time fraud detection models for the global payments network. This role owns machine learning work across the full lifecycle, including researching patterns, building and deploying models, and sharing results with Stripe customers.

What you'll do

• Design, build, train, evaluate, deploy, and own ML models in production that detect fraud
• Develop large scale ML systems operating on diverse, large datasets
• Experiment and iterate for data quality and accuracy to meet business goals
• Build pipelines to train and evaluate models in offline and online environments
• Integrate ML models into production systems with scalability and reliability
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering partners to improve merchant and consumer outcomes

What they're looking for

• Minimum 10+ years of industry experience shipping ML systems in production
• Proficiency with ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost and Spark
• Hands-on experience in designing, training, evaluating models and deploying at scale
• Experience orchestrating data pipelines and handling large-scale datasets
• Strong collaboration and ability to work across teams
• Autonomy, responsibility and an entrepreneurial mindset
