Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Camunda is the enterprise platform for agentic orchestration, enabling organizations to coordinate AI agents, people, and systems across complex business processes. This role designs and maintains our Kubernetes-based multi-cloud platform, improves observability, and mentors others to raise the reliability of Camunda’s systems.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain the Kubernetes-based multi-cloud platform, ensuring availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Establish configuration and network service best practices used by teams.
• Build observability and alerting that give real visibility into system health and performance.
• Own your systems end-to-end by participating in on-call rotations and creating runbooks and automation.
• Ship features and improvements with product engineering and management in a cross-functional collaboration.
• Push automation to remove repetitive work and share learnings with the team.

What they're looking for

• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production.
• Infrastructure as code expertise, fluent in Terraform or similar tools.
• Experience with monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
• Strong incident response and third-level support skills with clear communication under pressure.
• Automation mindset with a focus on reliable, maintainable systems and responsible use of AI tools.
