Project Management AI Research Contributor

About the role

Aptura is an applied AI and data company focused on training AI systems with real professional work. This role owns writing and evaluating realistic Excel tasks drawn from project management work to test AI performance on PM tasks.

What you'll do

• Create realistic Excel tasks from your project management experience
• Extend existing models, fix broken ones, and build tasks from briefs
• Work through each task to ensure a clear, correct answer
• Write yes-or-no criteria precise enough for consistent grading
• Document rubrics and evaluation criteria for each task
• Collaborate with reviewers to validate task quality and accuracy

What they're looking for

• 3+ years in project, programme or PMO roles in sectors such as construction, infrastructure or IT
• Deep hands-on Excel experience including budgets, earned value, nested formulas, conditional formatting and debugging
• Strong written English communication and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn AI concepts and evaluation methodologies
