About the role
Maisha Meds builds technology to improve healthcare in Africa and operates a large network of pharmacies and clinics across several countries. This role manages a remote engineering team across North America, Europe, and Africa, initially for patient programs projects and later for new initiatives, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.
What you'll do
- Manage a remote team of 3-6 engineers across multiple projects
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in architecture, design, code reviews, and incident management
- Contribute to projects up to 20 percent of your time to maintain deep technical understanding
- Participate in recruiting and hiring for your team when necessary
- Engage with stakeholders to translate requirements into concrete action plans
