About the role
Modus Create is a global digital product engineering partner that operates fully remotely. This Senior Site Reliability Engineer role owns building reliable, observable systems across the backend stack, driving uptime, performance, and incident response for client environments.
What you'll do
- Own 24/7 P0 on-call rotations with a 10 minute acknowledgment SLA and lead incident investigations
- Design and maintain observability systems including metrics, logging, and tracing
- Define SLAs and error budgets and drive reliability improvements across AWS infrastructure and Python services
- Mentor and onboard additional SRE engineers as the team scales
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to embed reliability into delivery and runbooks
