Senior Manager - Financial Controller

About the role

The company operates MoMo Payment Service Bank. This role leads the financial control and reporting function, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely reporting to support business decisions.

What you'll do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation and review in line with IFRS and company policies
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate, timely reporting
• Manage General Ledger and Chart of Accounts for data integrity
• Govern balance sheet through reconciliations and continuous control improvements
• Develop and maintain financial control frameworks and governance processes
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement corrective actions

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA, ANAN or equivalent
• 10-13 years in Financial Control, Reporting, Audit or Corporate Finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Experience in Fintech or Banking preferred
• Strong IFRS knowledge, internal controls, taxation, and regulatory compliance
