Regional Business Manager - Federal Business

About the role

The Regional Business Manager for Federal Business will drive profitable growth across the region by managing loan portfolios, customer acquisition, digital adoption, and portfolio quality. This role owns regional commercial performance, leadership of the Business Development Leads, and coordination with government partners to ensure regulatory compliance and strong execution.

What you'll do

• Own regional disbursement targets and monitor monthly, quarterly and annual performance.
• Manage the regional loan book health including NPL ratio and yield performance.
• Translate strategy into state and hub level execution plans with clear ownership.
• Lead NTB growth, oversee dormant account reactivations, and manage employer engagement with MDAs.
• Drive digital adoption and oversee regional digital origination targets and channel performance.
• Lead and coach the Business Development Leads, conduct weekly regional reviews, and ensure accountability.

What they're looking for

• MBA or MSc or BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including 5 years leading commercial sales teams and 3 years in regional leadership within banking or consumer lending.
• Proven experience with Federal Government salary-backed loan products and IPPIS ecosystem engagement.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed sales teams and achieving disbursement, revenue, and portfolio targets.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, regulatory requirements, and portfolio quality management.
