Learning Experience Designer

About the role

ALX Africa is a non profit organisation focused on unlocking Africa's digital future through world class tech skills training and career acceleration programmes. The Learning Experience Designer will design and develop learner centred experiences, collaborating with subject matter experts to translate expertise into structured curricula, lessons, assessments, and activities.

What you'll do

• Design engaging, learner centred experiences aligned to outcomes and learner needs
• Develop lessons, projects, assessments, and activities applying instructional design principles
• Experiment with new tools and formats including AI to enhance learner impact
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate expertise into structured content
• Assist with quality assurance and course deployment materials
• Document and organize learning assets for reuse and scalability

• Proven experience in instructional design or curriculum development
• Experience with online or blended learning formats
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models
• Ability to craft clear content across formats and collaborate effectively
