Remote design jobs
Design hiring is portfolio-led, which makes it one of the fairer remote categories for candidates outside the company's home country: the work speaks before the passport does.
These are live product, UX, UI and brand roles. Each is labeled by hiring region, so you can focus on the ones that will actually look at an application from Africa.
Right now there are 15 live roles from 7 companies, 6 of them labeled Worldwide or Open from Nigeria.

Questions, answered.
Can I get a remote UX or product design job from Nigeria?
Yes. Look for roles labeled Worldwide or Open from Nigeria, and lead with a portfolio that shows shipped product work and your reasoning, not just final screens.
What tools do remote design teams expect?
Figma is close to universal. Many teams also expect comfort with async critique in tools like Loom, Notion or Linear, since reviews often happen across timezones.
