HEMM Maintenance Manager

About the role

The role leads maintenance and optimization of heavy earth-moving equipment at Dangote Cement Plc. It owns planning preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing faults, and ensuring uptime on HEMM assets.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on HEMM equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic faults
• Conduct routine inspections and condition monitoring
• Develop maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution
• Prepare maintenance reports and equipment history records
• Coordinate with operations to minimize downtime and manage spare parts

What they're looking for

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 15 years experience with heavy equipment such as dumpers, excavators and drills
• Experience as service engineer with OEMs (KOMATSU, CAT, EPIROC) is an advantage
• Ability to read HEMM system schematics and perform advanced troubleshooting
• Strong time management, problem solving, communication and leadership skills
