Audit Specialist for Nigeria

About the role

The Dangote Group seeks an Audit Specialist for Nigeria to lead analysts in validating financial statements and improving internal operations. This role focuses on conducting financial and operational audits and providing assurance to management and the Audit Committee on compliance, risk management, and control effectiveness.

What you'll do

• Support the Team lead in developing and monitoring the Financial Operational Audit Plan
• Ensure audit procedures are followed, including issue identification, evidence review, and documentation
• Evaluate records and establish risk based audit programs
• Review and validate audit reports and present findings to stakeholders
• Oversee the work of audit analysts and manage ad hoc or special audit assignments
• Ensure compliance with International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and IIA Code of Ethics

What they're looking for

• B Sc or HND in Accounting or related field, master’s degree preferred
• Professional membership: CIA, ICAN, ACCA, or CPA
• Minimum 7 years of financial and operational audit experience
• Experience with IFRS, ICFR, and internal controls; SAP experience a plus
• Strong communication, analytical, and ethical standards
• Big 4 or international corporate experience is advantageous
