Unit Head, Quality Assurance & Analytics, E-Business Operations

About the role

Access Bank seeks a Unit Head of Quality Assurance & Analytics for E-Business Operations to supervise QA metrics, ensure reviews are conducted, and reported. This role owns maintaining internal controls and risk management practices, coordinating meetings and training, driving process improvements, and overseeing QA across E-Business Operations.

What you'll do

• Lead QA metrics, oversee reviews and deliver a robust QA report to the Group Head.
• Enforce internal controls and risk management practices across the group.
• Coordinate group meetings and training sessions; mentor QA team on processes and documentation standards.
• Drive process improvement to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency; ensure GL reconciliation checks are accurate and escalate exceptions as needed.
• Oversee periodic spot checks and process audits across key E-business Operations functions.
• Monitor regulatory and internal SLA timelines, including CBN reversals, and support QA related audits and queries.

What they're looking for

• Proven ability to lead a team and make sound judgments based on QA findings.
• Familiarity with core banking systems such as Flexcube, switching platforms and digital banking interfaces.
• Strong understanding of governing principles and rules of E-business operations.
• Ability to spot errors, inconsistencies or deviations in data or processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office Excel, SQL, or BI tools to investigate and report findings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to work with operations, compliance and IT teams.
