Speechify is a 100 percent distributed company building text-to-speech products across platforms. The Team Lead will own core Android product work, write and review code, and guide the team through feature delivery from concept to release.
What you'll do
Own major Android features end to end from decision to release
Maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features
Review pull requests and provide actionable feedback
Unblock the team when progress stalls and ensure cohesive versioning
Shift verification left and automate where possible for nightly builds
Participate in cross functional discussions with Product and Design

5+ years of software engineering experience with team leadership or owning a major surface while remaining hands-on
Speechify sells text-to-speech apps for phone, web, browser and desktop that read text aloud, along with AI voice generation, dubbing and voice typing. It serves individual readers, schools and businesses, and offers an API for developers.
