Senior React Native Engineer, HFC

About the role

Tiny is looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to design, build and refine performant mobile applications for iOS and Android. You will own implementation details end to end and help ensure releases are fast, stable and polished.

What you'll do

• Build and ship high-quality React Native apps using Expo and Tamagui for shared design systems.
• Translate designs and product specs into responsive, maintainable components and flows.
• Implement natural looking animations and media interactions, including video where applicable.
• Integrate APIs and services, including native platform APIs and analytics tools like PostHog.
• Ensure app stability and performance through testing, debugging, profiling and optimization.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to deliver cohesive releases and refine build and deployment pipelines.

What they're looking for

• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, including 3+ years with React Native.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, with exposure to Kotlin or Swift a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Expo, Tamagui, and modern UI component architectures.
• Proven ability to deliver pixel-perfect UI from Figma or similar prototypes.
• Experience implementing smooth animations, transitions and media-heavy interactions.
• Understanding of app architecture, performance tuning and automated testing.
