Senior Human Resource Associate

About the role

Daystar Power Group provides solar and hybrid power solutions across Africa, with services including maintenance and various financing options. This role holds end-to-end responsibility for human resources strategy and operations in Lagos, aligning people initiatives with business goals.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for strategic roles and manage recruitment metrics and budgets
• Drive performance management processes, coaching, succession planning, and leadership development
• Develop HR analytics, dashboards, and workforce insights to inform decisions
• Oversee HR operations, records, policies, governance, and regulatory compliance
• Provide guidance on employee relations, investigations, and policy interpretation
• Lead organizational development, change management, and process improvement initiatives

What they're looking for

• Minimum 6 years of progressive HR Generalist experience in fast paced or multinational settings
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field and relevant HR certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law and HR compliance
• Proficiency in HR systems and data analysis, with ability to build dashboards
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal; French knowledge a plus
• Ability to influence stakeholders and manage HR projects with minimal supervision
