About the role
M-KOPA is a FinTech company delivering financial inclusion across Africa. This role owns the backend of the Asset Sales group, building distributed, event-driven C# and .NET microservices on Azure and helping scale the platform for millions of users.
What you'll do
- Build and operate distributed C# and .NET microservices on Azure within an event-driven architecture
- Own features end to end from idea through deployment, production, and iteration
- Collaborate across time zones in a distributed team to ship measurable value
- Invest in observability, reliability, and deployment safeguards with automated tests and SLOs
- Participate in on-call duties and production ownership to improve system resilience
- Experiment with AI tools as part of daily engineering workflow to enhance design and testing
