Manager, Engineering - Identity

About the role

Camunda provides an enterprise platform for agentic orchestration, coordinating AI agents, people, and systems across complex processes. The Manager, Engineering - Identity owns the end to end delivery of the IAM foundation powering Camunda 8, including on premises and SaaS offerings, and will coach a team to deliver secure, enterprise ready integrations at scale.

What you'll do

• Own end to end delivery of reusable IAM components across the Camunda 8 stack, including authentication, authorization, and federated organization management.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams, SREs, QA, and product leadership to define and drive the technical and product vision; steward roadmap and commitments.
• Improve reliability and efficiency by managing build release pipelines, shipping security fixes within SLOs, and reducing support load and incidents.
• Grow and coach a team of senior and developing engineers in a remote, asynchronous environment using a DRI model.
• Mature the SaaS offering for large scale enterprises and ensure easy integration with customers' IAM solutions.

• Background in product engineering for integration heavy B2B products with emphasis on security, operability, and performance.
