Internal Control Manager

A professional responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an organization's internal control framework to ensure risk management, compliance, and operational efficiency. They identify and mitigate risks, ensure adherence to policies and procedures, and promote a culture of control and accountability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and assess operational and financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate them
• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust internal control framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Provide training and guidance to staff on internal control principles, policies, and procedures
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders, communicating audit findings and recommendations to senior management

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications like CIA, CPA, or CISA are preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or internal controls, with a focus on aviation or a similar industry.
