English to Spanish (ESMX native) Linguist for Life Sciences

About the role

Welo Life Sciences provides regulator-ready translation and localization for pharmaceutical, CRO, and medical device clients. This role focuses on English to Spanish (Mexico) translation of clinical trial, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory documents, including MTPE and copy editing with strict turnaround times.

What you'll do

• Translate clinical research, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance documents from English to Spanish LatAm
• Perform Machine Translation Post-Editing on machine translated safety content
• Copy edit translated or post-edited content for accuracy, tone, and consistency
• Meet non-extendable turnaround times for time-sensitive content
• Work within the client’s CAT tool environment (XTM/Phrase) and Track Changes in Word

What they're looking for

• Native in ESMX (Mexican Spanish)
• Experience in life sciences translation, especially clinical trials and pharmacovigilance
• Experience with CAT tools (XTM/Phrase) and Microsoft Word Track Changes
• Minimum two years of professional translation experience or five years if education route is used
• Experience with regulatory documents (eg, SmPC, PIL, labels) is a plus
