Designer - Virtual Design and Construction Specialist

About the role

The company designs restaurant spaces using virtual design and construction technology. This role owns managing BIM workflows, coordinating with teams, and supporting VDC projects to ensure project setup and execution align with BIM plans.

What you'll do

• Manage the Singer Hub on Forma, including folders and permissions for divisions.
• Create a BIM Execution Plan for Singer HR.
• Support VDC projects including project setup, BIM modeling, rough-ins, and technical support.
• Attend VDC/BIM kick-off calls to set expectations and timelines.
• Analyze BIM Execution Plans and configure projects accordingly.
• Participate in BIM Coordination Meetings with Project Managers and perform clash detection when required.

What they're looking for

• Associates or Technical Degree in Drafting, CADD, or related field; bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of foodservice equipment design experience; mechanical systems experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong problem solving, reading blueprints, and understanding construction practices.
• Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with good organizational and time management skills.
