About the role
Soum is building a re commerce marketplace in the MENA region with rapid growth across its team and product offerings. This Data Engineer role owns designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and the data infrastructure that supports analytics, ML models, and decision making.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for analytics and ML models
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure clean, available data
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and validation processes
- Design ETL/ELT workflows and integrate multiple data sources into centralized storage
- Support cloud based data storage and retrieval
- Document workflows, schemas, and processes and support data governance and security practices
