Area Collections Executive, Saki & Oyo (Oyo State)

About the role

Sun King is expanding its Risk department and this role focuses on field collections for PAYG products in Oyo State. The Area Collections Executive owns regional collection strategies, field interventions, and collaboration with Sales and Risk teams to improve repayments and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Assess regional portfolio and repayment trends to drive strategies for improving collection rates
• Conduct field visits to validate sales quality and gather insights for strategic direction
• Provide weekly updates on interventions, results, and customer insights to Sales and Risk teams
• Design and implement collection processes to improve repayments and customer satisfaction
• Work with Area Business Managers and Field Sales Executives to repossess products when needed
• Report cases of product tampering or fraud and take appropriate actions per risk processes

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Finance, Community Development, Communication, or related fields
• At least 1 year of relevant field experience with rural customers
• Experience in Microfinance, Fintech, or banking with credit collections or debt recovery preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work across multiple sales and cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of the territory is advantageous
