Technical Product Manager (AI-native, Remote)

About the role

ShortPoint designs software that helps teams build intranet sites inside Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams. This Technical Product Manager role partners with the Product Director to manage the full product lifecycle, translate discussions into user stories, and oversee releases with an AI-enabled approach.

What you'll do

• Assist with day-to-day product cadence, meeting management, follow-ups, backlog grooming, story writing, and release tracking
• Write detailed, unambiguous user stories and acceptance criteria in Linear; keep the backlog sprint-ready
• Track release progress across engineering and QA and inform stakeholders of status, risks, and timelines
• Create wireframes and mockups using AI design tools while ensuring strong UI/UX quality
• Leverage AI tools to analyze data, close gaps, and resolve bottlenecks in processes
• Engage in technical discussions about APIs, web technologies, and architecture with engineers

What they're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on product management experience in software/SaaS
• Direct experience with B2B SaaS; familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or intranet products is a plus
• Proficiency with Linear (or similar agile tracking tool), GitHub, and Claude or comparable AI tooling
• Strong design literacy with ability to produce AI-assisted mockups and a good eye for UI/UX
• Solid technical background, able to discuss APIs, web technologies, and architecture with engineers
• Experience with JavaScript/React or Microsoft 365/SharePoint ecosystem is a bonus
