Talent Acquisition Specialist - Jumia (Full Time)

About the role

Jumia is a leading pan-African e-commerce platform focused on using technology to improve everyday life in Africa. This Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned Jumia countries, ensuring the attraction, screening and selection of qualified candidates and delivering an excellent candidate experience.

What you'll do

• Source candidates through job boards, social media and professional networks and build talent pipelines for critical and high-volume roles.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions; screen resumes, interview candidates and coordinate assessments.
• Coordinate interview logistics and extend offers in collaboration with HR Operations while maintaining regular candidate updates.
• Support employer branding by representing Jumia at career fairs and creating content for local hiring.
• Maintain accurate records and recruitment metrics in Greenhouse; track time-to-fill and source effectiveness.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR on workforce planning and talent needs.

What they're looking for

• 3-5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or a related HR role.
• Strong end-to-end recruitment knowledge from sourcing to onboarding.
• Experience managing multiple vacancies in a fast-paced environment and in different markets.
• Good candidate screening, interviewing, assessment and selection techniques; ATS experience with Greenhouse as an advantage.
• Strong sourcing skills across job boards, LinkedIn, social media and professional networks; ability to build talent pipelines.
• Creative approach to sourcing and attracting diverse talent.
