Junior Test Engineer Automation (Python) - OP02251-00

About the role

Dev.Pro is a US-based outsourced software development company with a remote first approach. The Junior Test Automation Engineer will create and run automated tests, review results, and help identify issues in complex cloud based systems, while gaining hands on experience in performance testing and monitoring.

What you'll do

• Create, maintain, and run automated tests.
• Investigate test failures and fix issues in automated tests.
• Execute pre scripted performance tests, including load, stress, spike, and soak tests.
• Record and monitor key performance metrics such as latency, response times, throughput, and error rates using AWS CloudWatch.
• Review test results and report anomalies to the team.

What they're looking for

• Up to 1.5 years of experience in software testing or test automation.
• Understanding of software testing principles and QA practices.
• Basic programming or scripting skills in Python or Scala.
• Basic understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, headers, payloads, and API status codes.
• Ability to execute tests, review results, and identify issues.
• Upper Intermediate English with good communication and collaboration skills.
