Senior Finance Officer

About the role

VillageReach transforms health care delivery to reach everyone and reduce inequities in access to quality primary health care. The Senior Finance Officer will oversee financial systems, maintain robust internal controls, and manage payments and operational processes to support program delivery.

What you'll do

• Maintain accurate financial records and timely processing of supplier and staff payments.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and generate monthly financial reports.
• Support program teams with budget data for planning and new proposals.
• Keep Sage up to date and upload documentation to Dropbox.
• Coordinate with internal and external audit teams and provide supporting documentation.

What they're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; at least 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Practical knowledge of Sage or a similar accounting system.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to work independently and in a fast paced environment; strong written and verbal communication; fluency in English is a plus.
• Experience in international settings; ability to work under time constraints; willingness to comply with vaccination policy.
• Membership with a professional body is desirable.
