Social Media Assistant

About the role

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Social Media Assistant for our UK-based clients. This is a fully remote position offering South African professionals an excellent opportunity to work with leading UK employers from home. You will work UK business hours and join a supportive, fast-growing team.

What you'll do

• Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Monitor social media channels and engage with comments and messages.
• Assist with creating captions, graphics briefs and content calendars.
• Track performance metrics and compile weekly engagement reports.
• Support the marketing team with ad-hoc content and campaign tasks.

• Experience managing social media accounts in a professional or marketing role.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Metricool, Buffer or Hootsuite.
• Strong written communication with an eye for on-brand messaging.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking.
• Creative flair with the ability to contribute fresh content ideas.
