Operations Manager

About the role

A UK property development business that secures land and planning permission for investors and runs a paid programme teaching others to do the same. The role is fully remote from South Africa, works UK hours, and serves as the founder's number two, owning day to day operations and helping the business scale.

What you'll do

• Lead day to day operations of a small team including a land acquisitions manager and an operations assistant with weekly targets.
• Coordinate outsourced marketing across social, email and paid ads, briefing, tracking progress and quality.
• Onboard and support around twenty paying programme clients through onboarding, weekly coaching calls and Q and A.
• Keep deals and projects moving in Monday.com and spot stalls early.
• Build written processes and onboarding materials for a growing team.
• Act as the liaison between the founder and the team to keep him focused on investors and deals.

What they're looking for

• Five or more years in an operations manager, general manager or number two role.
• Experience managing remote teams and holding them to weekly targets.
• Experience working directly for a business owner with the judgment to make daily decisions.
• Confidence coordinating suppliers and contractors by phone.
• Proficiency with Monday.com or equivalents (ClickUp, Asana, Trello) and Slack; comfortable with AI tools.
• Property, land, planning or construction experience; experience running a paid client programme; prior work with UK businesses.
