Training & Development Associate

About the role

ASG is a luxury safari and high end travel company with an international client base. This hands-on Training Development Associate role owns delivering the Sales Consultant induction, supporting ongoing development, assessing trainee performance and keeping training materials and systems current.

What you'll do

• Deliver ASG's 4-week Sales Consultant Induction Course and ongoing refresher workshops.
• Facilitate engaging, practical training to prepare new consultants for the ASG sales environment.
• Use AI-enhanced learning tools, including NotebookLM, mind maps, flashcards and interactive quizzes.
• Coach and mentor trainees to achieve required competency standards and provide remedial coaching as needed.
• Maintain and share expert knowledge of ASG's software, processes, policies and luxury safari products across South Africa, Southern Africa and East Africa; keep resources up to date.
• Manage training content within LMS Tutor Pro, WordPress/Elementor and Google Workspace and mark assessments with accuracy.

What they're looking for

• At least 3 years experience in luxury safari or high end travel with proven sales cycle experience.
• Strong practical understanding of the luxury travel and safari sales environment.
• Excellent spoken and written English and strong communication skills.
• Impeccable Google Workspace skills and experience with LMS platforms, preferably Tutor Pro and WordPress/Elementor.
• Confidence using AI tools and an interest in applying AI to learning and development.
• Exceptional attention to detail, highly organised and able to adapt to changing processes and technology.
