Manager - Portfolio Analytics

About the role

Inkomoko is a social enterprise supporting entrepreneurs across East and Central Africa. As Manager, Portfolio Analytics, you will lead a team of Investments Business Analysts and Graduate Trainees to drive data-informed investment decisions, strengthen portfolio performance and risk monitoring, and lead strategic analytics and systems initiatives.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop a high-performing analytics team
• Analyze portfolio performance and translate insights into actions
• Support forecasting and scenario analysis for growth and risk
• Develop early warning indicators and perform stress testing
• Provide analytical support for underwriting and risk decisions
• Own executive reporting and automated dashboards

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; relevant charter preferred
• 4+ years in analytics, finance, portfolio management, or credit risk
• Experience leading analytics professionals and mentoring junior staff
• Proven track record with technology integration or systems change in finance
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; strong Excel and financial/credit risk modeling
• Data visualization with Power BI, Holistics, or Tableau and API/data integration experience
