Logistics Operations Manager - Jumia (Full Time)

About the role

Jumia is a leading pan-African e-commerce platform. This role leads Logistics Operations including inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring seamless transport execution and timely deliveries, while optimizing workflows and driving improvements across systems.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily inbound and outbound logistics routines to ensure timely deliveries
• Optimize route planning, carrier allocation, and transport handovers to improve efficiency
• Investigate and resolve transport delays and bottlenecks with internal and external partners
• Manage and meet KPIs including on time delivery, freight cost optimization, and carrier SLA compliance
• Identify and drive process improvements for LMS and TMS and overall transport efficiency
• Ensure accurate data tracking of shipments, transport costs, vendor invoices, and statuses in ERP and TMS

• Proven experience in logistics management, transportation operations, fleet management, or supply chain leadership
• Excellent communication skills with ability to coordinate across carrier partners, logistics teams, and cross functional departments

• Agility and adaptability to prioritize dynamic transport schedules in a fast paced environment
• Team spirit and leadership to motivate and support a high performing logistics operations team
